Die Digi Connect WAN Mobilfunk-Router bieten sichere hochgeschwindigkeits-Wireless-Anbindung zu dezentralern Standorte und Geräte. Neben der Bereitstellung primärer Wireless-Broadband-Netzwerkanbindung dezentraler Geräte kann dieser Router auch als Backup für vorhandene Telefonleitungen genutzt werden. Die Digi Connect WAN Familie ist ideal für Bereich, in denen eine drahtgebundene Verbindung nicht realisierbar ist und alternative Netzwerkverbindungen nötig sind. Anwendungsbereiche sind unter anderem im Bauwesen, in der industriellen Automatisierung, Versorgungseinrichtungen, Prozessautomatisierung, Einzelhandel/POS, Bankwesen (Geldautomaten), Verkehrswesen und generell temporäre Einsatzorte ohne drahtgebundene Verbindungsmöglichkeit.
