Los productos Digi Connect WAN brindan comunicaciones inalámbricas de alto rendimiento por medio de redes GSM (GPRS/EDGE) o CDMA (1xRTT) para posibilitar la conectividad principal y de reserva fuera de la oficina. Brindan una forma sencilla y rentable de conectar prácticamente cualquier punto alejado a la red IP de la empresa. Resultan ideales para los casos en que no hay posibilidad de redes cableadas (por ejemplo, línea dedicada/Frame Relay, CSU/DSU, T1 fraccional) o cuando son necesarias conexiones a redes alternativas. Entre sus ventajas se cuentan la rapidez de instalación, la eliminación de los costos de cableado y los problemas debidos a la rotura de los cables, la posibilidad de atravesar firewalls, y la posibilidad de trasladar la conexión a cualquier parte.
Todos los productos Digi Connect WAN se integran con el software para empresas Digi Connectware® Manager, que permite la instalación, configuración y mantenimiento sencillos de grandes instalaciones. Los usuarios pueden actualizar el firmware o cambiar la configuración de miles de dispositivos de forma sencilla, además de recibir informes de estado para la detección y resolución de problemas.
