Basado en la tecnología de procesador NET+ARM de 32 bits de Digi, el exclusivo diseño del ConnectCore Wi-9C combina el rendimiento del procesador central ARM9, seguridad pensada para la empresa, opciones de conexión a redes cableadas e inalámbricas, amplia compatibilidad con plataformas embebidas, y una opción perfecta de migración a una solución de sistema en un chip (SoC).
El ConnectCore Wi-9C reduce considerablemente el coste del desarrollo de productos y el plazo de salida al mercado con su homologación para radio. Se garantiza la disponibilidad del producto a largo plazo ya que emplea la propia tecnología de radio de Digi, que no va ligada a los habitualmente cortos ciclos de vida de los chipset de radio tradicionales, dependientes del mercado.
Los completos kits de desarrollo de Digi, de fácil manejo, reducen al mínimo los riesgos generales del diseño de productos, bien por las reducidas dimensiones de kernel y la eficacia de la plataforma NET+OS® basada en ThreadX y sin necesidad de licencia, bien por la completa selección de funciones y avanzados componentes de software y aplicaciones de Microsoft® Windows CE, o bien por el entorno Linux con su biblioteca de software abierto.
