La familia PortServer TS de servidores de terminales brinda conectividad serie (RS-232/422/485) en red de forma sencilla, fiable y rentable para una amplia gama de aplicaciones. El PortServer TS ofrece soluciones independientes del hardware que permiten el acceso a aplicaciones de servidores en red que soportan el protocolo TCP/IP.
La familia PortServer TS de servidores de terminales brinda conectividad serie (RS-232/422/485) en red de forma sencilla, fiable y rentable para una amplia gama de aplicaciones. El PortServer TS ofrece soluciones independientes del hardware que permiten el acceso a aplicaciones de servidores en red que soportan el protocolo TCP/IP.
El PortServer TS incorpora el software Digi RealPort®, que brinda funciones de puertos serie locales así como de sesiones de entrada y salida Rlogin y Telnet en cada puerto. Digi Port Authority-Remote (DPA-Remote) brinda a los usuarios de los PortServer TS una herramienta de administración para el control de la actividad de la red y los dispositivos serie desde un cliente o servidor en Windows o UNIX.
Además, el PortServer TS cuenta con encriptación SSH v2, para protección contra la supervisión no autorizada del tráfico de la red LAN, así como también de almacenamiento temporal de puertos (port buffering), que puede ser utilizado para obtener información vital de los puertos serie de servidores UNIX en red y así resolver los problemas que surjan.
