Con la familia PortServer TS P MEI resulta muy sencillo conectar dispositivos seriales RS-232/422/485 a una red IP. Al admitir opciones de alimentación eléctrica versátiles, tales como vía Ethernet y serial, el PortServer TS P MEI puede adaptarse a muchas aplicaciones que requieran alternativas a las opciones de alimentación tradicionales.

Al admitir opciones de alimentación eléctrica versátiles, tales como vía Ethernet y serial, el PortServer TS P MEI puede adaptarse a muchas aplicaciones que requieran alternativas a las opciones de alimentación tradicionales.
Disponibles en versiones de uno, dos y cuatro puertos los PortServer TS P MEI brindan conectividad serial a Ethernet multipuerto de alto rendimiento. Los dispositivos PortServer TS P MEI son ideales para aplicaciones que requieran de puertos COM, serial tunneling o funciones TCP/UDP Socket. La tecnología RealPort® con encriptación, patentada por Digi, posibilita el establecimiento de una conexión entre el servidor y el dispositivo serial en red al crear un puerto COM o TTY local en el computador central, de modo que las aplicaciones de software funcionen con los servidores de dispositivos en red sin necesidad de un adaptador de expansión serial dentro del servidor.
