Les routeurs cellulaires/WiMax Digi Connect WAN assurent la connectivité sans fil haut débit sécurisée des sites et des périphériques distants. Ces produits permettent d'établir une connexion réseau haut débit sans fil principale fiable vers les équipements des sites distants, ainsi qu'une connexion de secours en cas de défaillance des communications sur les lignes fixes existantes. La gamme Digi Connect WAN s'avère également utile lorsque les réseaux filaires ne sont pas envisageables ou lorsqu'un type de connexion réseau alternatif est nécessaire. Ses applications incluent notamment les nouveaux chantiers de construction, l'automatisation industrielle, les sous-stations d'alimentation électrique, les sites de commerce de détail/les points de vente, l'industrie ferroviaire ou les sites temporaires sans connexion filaire principale.
