Les cartes multiports série AccelePort Xp Universal PCI (3,3 V et 5 V) construites autour d’un processeur RISC 80 Mhz puissant sont hautement intégrés et fournissent le plus haut niveau d'intelligence et de performance disponibles sur le marché. La présence de deux à 16 ports série RS-232 haut débit sur chaque carte, la variété d'options de connecteurs (DB-9, DB-25 ou RJ-45), le format compact, la compatibilité PCI/PCI-X et une protection contre les surtensions sur chaque signal, sont autant d'éléments offrant une grande souplesse d'application.
