LINDON, Utah (March 30, 2006) – MaxStream’s stand-alone RF modems are now able to easily attach to standard DIN rail mounting racks with a new DIN rail mounting bracket kit. DIN rails are commonly used to mount industrial technology in equipment racks.
“MaxStream recognizes that DIN rail is an industry standard and we want to accommodate our many systems integrators that use DIN,” said David Steed, Vice President of Engineering at MaxStream. “We are always looking for new ways to support our rapidly growing customer base, and adding an optional DIN mounting plate to our product offering will help us reach out to a variety of industrial applications.”
The kit includes an anodized aluminum bracket, two mounting clips and all the necessary connection hardware. Using the DIN rail kit, simply snap the wireless hardware to a DIN rail and conveniently remove or rearrange the configuration on the rail whenever necessary.
The DIN rail mounting bracket kit is compatible with the XTend, XStream and XCite stand-alone radio modems that feature RS-232/485, USB or Ethernet connections. MaxStream’s award-winning 900 MHz and 2.4 GHz RF modems make it simple for electronic devices to wirelessly communicate long ranges (up to 40 miles) using advanced networking topologies and reliable connections.
Pricing starts at $15 per mounting bracket kit, with volume discounts available. More information on the DIN rail kit (PN: PKG-DINRAIL-KIT) can be found at www.maxstream.net or contact MaxStream at (866) 765-9885.
