The Digi Passport I-KVM combines remote management of servers and network devices with KVM over IP functionality. One I-KVM is capable of managing one server using KVM/IP and a second device using a serial console port. Up to eight Digi Passport I-KVM units can be cascaded, using one Ethernet switch port and one power outlet. Users can add units as necessary, instead of buying expensive multi-port devices. The Digi Passport I-KVM is a highly scalable management device designed for control of servers and network equipment in data centers and hard-to-reach remote sites.
The automatic adaptive compression feature built into the Digi Passport I-KVM lowers network overhead, using up to 100% less bandwidth than other solutions. Users can easily access the I-KVM over the network, the Internet, through free VNC viewers or handheld devices. No proprietary software is needed and there are no additional software fees.
The Digi Passport I-KVM is the best integrated, most cost-effective management solution available. It offers full BIOS control of servers, IP connectivity for analog KVM devices, secure SSH connections, local and remote port logging. This pocket-sized tool is ideal for managing remote servers and network devices and across a range of applications.
