Combining the inherent benefits of secure data networking with proven asynchronous connectivity, the ConnectPort TS W delivers universal, high-performance wireless serial-to-network connectivity and is ideal for applications requiring COM/TTY ports, serial tunneling, or TCP/UDP functionality. Digi’s patented RealPort® technology makes it possible to establish a connection between the server and networked serial devices by creating a local COM/TTY port on the server, allowing almost every software application to work with networked device servers without software modification.
For data privacy, the ConnectPort TS W family offers leading enterprise-class security such as complete WPA/WPA2/802.11i support for WLAN connections and strong 256-bit AES encryption via SSL/TLS/SSHv2 for both wired and wireless networks.
Easy-to-use configuration and management is available through an integrated and secure web user interface as well as a powerful Command Line Interface (CLI) option. The support for SNMPv2 makes device integration into centralized network management systems simple and effortless.
Additional device connectivity is provided through a USB port (Type A, host) to which devices such as Digi's Watchport® camera or a USB memory stick can be attached.
