The Digi One IA Modem provides reliable, cost-effective remote access to industrial equipment. Users can quickly and easily access, control or collect event data from RS-232 serial devices using standard telephone lines.
This compact, rugged v.92 56K external modem features a thin DIN rail mount, 9-30VDC power input with screw terminal block connectors and 0°-60° C operating temperature, enabling reliable performance in control cabinets. It is designed specifically to connect Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), flow meters and other remote, industrial-grade serial devices. Used in tandem with other Digi serial servers, the Digi One IA Modem is ideal as a failsafe dial line backup for serial-to-Ethernet connections.
Installing the Digi One IA Modem is quick and easy. Simply attach the modem to the DIN rail and connect the power supply, phone line and serial cable. Then install the hardware, configure the device and begin communicating.
