The Wavespeed/S Bluetooth wireless serial adapter offers a secure, standards-based solution to enable wireless RS-232 serial data transfer between peripheral devices and a host. This standalone solution increases user mobility in mission-critical applications such as mobile computing (emergency vehicles, delivery trucks), medical and retail/POS.
Two Wavespeed/S units may be paired with a host PC and bar-code scanner, receipt printer, scale or other device to create a wireless link for instant serial cable replacement.
A single Wavespeed/S may be used in server mode to communicate with a Bluetooth-enabled serial device like a PDA, PLC, tablet PC or WAN radio.
