Digi's XBee wall router is a small extender used to create or expand a ZigBee network, allowing other ZigBee enabled devices to seamlessly communicate with each other. The wall router simply plugs into a standard power outlet for quick and easy deployment. Once deployed, the router acts as a mesh network routing node, expanding the range and adding redundancy to a wireless network.
Additionally, environmental sensors included on the XBee wall router allow ConnectPort® X gateway users to monitor temperature and light conditions throughout the deployment area.
Built upon the extended range XBee-PRO ZB module, the XBee wall router is fully interoperable with other XBee ZB devices, including XBee modules, adapters, sensors and gateways. XBee products are part of Digi's Drop-in Networking family of solutions, offering users seamless wireless communication between devices. XBee adaptors deliver wireless connectivity to electronic devices in wired networks. XBee sensors provide real-time environmental information from the deployment area. ConnectPort X gateways enable users to access and configure remote devices in a network.
