The Digi m10 satellite modem provides worldwide satellite data transmit and receive capabilities for a wide variety of asset-tracking and industrial remote communications. Operating on the ORBCOMM low-earth orbit (LEO) satellite network, it is designed to enable Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication with virtually unlimited global coverage and no blockage.
Built on Digi's own patented mixed signal chip designed and tailored for satellite applications, the Digi m10 module is the perfect solution for low- and high-volume applications. It offers quick and simple product design integration through its integrated serial UART interface. With full support for industrial operating temperature and operational shock/vibration specifications exceeding SAE J1455, it is the ideal choice for reliable and highly cost-efficient satellite connectivity in even the most demanding application.
The Digi m10 JumpStart Kit provides a complete setup for quick product evaluation and development purposes. It offers an RS-232 and USB port, and includes antenna, a Windows-based Satellite Dashboard application, documentation, and free 90-day limited ORBCOMM connectivity right out of the box.
