XBee and XBee-PRO ZB ZigBee modules provide cost-effective wireless connectivity to devices in ZigBee mesh networks. Utilizing the ZigBee PRO Feature Set, these modules are interoperable with other ZigBee devices, including devices from other vendors†. Programmable versions of the XBee-PRO ZB ZigBee module make customizing ZigBee applications easy, even without wireless design expertise.
iDigi Manager Pro is a feature of all Digi cellular gateways, routers, devices and components. iDigi Manager Pro provides a robust suite of network management tools including authentication, configuration management, account management, asynchronous updates and alerts, group and individual software updating, network data storage and gateway programming.
iDigi Manager Pro empowers IT, network operations and customer support organizations to conquer the challenges of managing the vast array of cellular equipment in their device networks. Network managers can remotely configure, upgrade, monitor and troubleshoot remote devices, and create applications that improve productivity, speed and efficiency.
Products in the XBee family are easy to use. They require no configuration or additional development; users can have their network up and running in a matter of minutes.
Programmable versions of the XBee-PRO ZB module make customizing ZigBee applications easy. Programming directly on the module eliminates the need for a separate processor. Because the wireless software is isolated, applications can be developed with no risk to RF performance or security.
XBee modules are available in a variety of protocols and frequencies. The common hardware footprint shared by Digi’s XBee modules means users can substitute one XBee for another with minimal development time and risk, enabling global deployment.

XBee and XBee-PRO ZB Modules are compatible with other devices that use XBee "ZB" technology. These include ConnectPort X gateways, XBee and XBee-PRO Adapters, XBee Wall Routers, XBee Sensors, and other products when designated with the "ZB" product name. Devices that do not have the "ZB" product name, including Digi's line of DigiMesh and 802.15.4 XBee products, are not compatible with XBee and XBee-PRO ZB Modules.
†Network interoperability with ZigBee devices from other vendors requires that the ZigBee Feature Set or ZigBee PRO Feature Set be deployed on all devices. Contact Digi Support for details.
