While a robust and effective solution, new customers/applications should instead consider the ZigBee certified XBee and XBee-PRO ZB. The XBee and XBee-PRO ZB embedded RF modules are built upon the ZigBee PRO Feature Set and provide the most advanced ZigBee networking capabilities available in the XBee footprint.

Existing ZNet 2.5 Customers/Applications
If you have deployed a ZNet 2.5 solution, your product will continue to be supported in the long-term. The ZNet 2.5 is a robust and effective mesh networking solution that has been built for long-term deployment. In addition, as a ZNet 2.5 user you have the option of changing your ZNet 2.5 solution to a ZB solution, and leverage the features of the ZigBee PRO Feature Set with a firmware change (you will need to interface directly with the module).
