Digi International to Showcase Innovative Connectivity and Managed Services at DISTRIBUTECH 2026

Empowering Utilities and Industrial Infrastructure with Secure, Intelligent Solutions

DIGI INTERNATIONAL BOOTH 1145
SAN DIEGO CONVENTION CENTER, SAN DIEGO, CA, FEBRUARY 3–5, 2026

SAN DIEGO, CA, February 3, 2025 – Digi International®, (NASDAQ: DGII), a leading global provider of Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity products, solutions and services, announces its presence at DISTRIBUTECH® 2026, taking place February 3–5 in San Diego, California. At Booth 1145, Digi will demonstrate how its industrial connectivity and managed services solutions address the most pressing challenges for utilities, critical infrastructure operators, and service providers by delivering secure, scalable, and remotely managed connectivity for distributed networks.

As utilities and industrial organizations accelerate digital transformation and modernize grid, automation, and field operations, Digi’s portfolio delivers robust connectivity, security, and remote management to ensure always-on performance across mission-critical deployments.

Driving Resilient Connectivity for Utilities and Industrial Networks

Digi will highlight solutions designed to help organizations overcome operational challenges including network reliability, security threats, and deployment complexity:

  • Digi IX30 for Utilities: Purpose-built for utilities and industrial applications, the Digi IX30 industrial cellular router solution delivers secure, resilient connectivity for smart grid, telemetry, and critical infrastructure in the toughest environments. The solution enables secure remote access, multi-carrier failover, and seamless integration with Digi Remote Manager® for centralized management and control.
  • Digi XBee for Wi-SUN: Digi XBee for Wi-SUN enables standards-based and IP-based mesh networking that simplifies and accelerates the deployment of secure, and highly scalable wireless networks for utilities, smart cities, industrial IoT, and renewable energy applications. The solution includes a module, border router, Digi XBee Studio for configuration and testing, and Digi Remote Manager for remote management. At the event, Digi International and Radius Synergies International Private Limited (RSIPL), a Digi customer, are showcasing an end-to-end smart metering solution built on Digi XBee® for Wi-SUN®. The showcase features a smart meter connected over a secure IPv6 mesh network integrating Digi XBee Wi-SUN modules, with data aggregated through a Digi XBee® Hive border router, and network management through Digi Remote Manager. Radius’ Smart Meter Demand Management solution delivers data visualization and insights to the home, demonstrating how Digi customers deploy and monitor scalable, standards-based AMI networks with utility-grade scale, security, and reliability using Digi XBee for Wi-SUN.

“With over 100 million Wi-SUN devices proven in mission-critical networks worldwide, Digi is delivering a complete end-to-end solution that combines secure mesh modules, intelligent border routers, and unified management tools.” said Mike Rohrmoser, Vice President of Product Management, at Digi International. “At DISTRIBUTECH 2026, we are showcasing with customers how we are delivering standards- and IP-based Wi-SUN networking, reduce deployment complexity, while delivering secure connectivity and network management across industries at scale.”

Digi’s industrial solutions integrate remote management for critical insights and predictive maintenance. Built-in security, edge intelligence, and unified lifecycle management through Digi Remote Manager provide real-time visibility, proactive monitoring, and automated maintenance that help reduce downtime and operational risk.

Expanding Managed Services with Digi Ventus Managed Connectivity Platform

Digi will also spotlight the recent rollout of the Digi Ventus Managed Connectivity Platform (MCP), a comprehensive managed connectivity offering that combines Digi industrial hardware with global multi-carrier cellular connectivity, 24 by 7 monitoring, lifecycle management, and expert support. Digi Ventus MCP helps solution providers and enterprises simplify deployments, reduce operational complexity, and accelerate time to value by delivering connectivity as a fully managed service.

“Managed services are becoming an essential part of how organizations deploy and operate connectivity,” said Landon Reese, Vice President of Product Management, at Digi International. “With the Digi Ventus Managed Connectivity Platform, Digi is enabling partners and customers to deploy secure, resilient cellular networks without CapEx dollars or the burden of managing carriers, hardware lifecycles, or ongoing operations.”
