Tradeshow Digi is Presenting
Adding Machine Learning based image processing to your IoT product; Real time edge processing on the ConnectCore 8X
Andreas Burghart, Principal IoT Technologist; Digi International
Brad Scott, CEO; Au-Zone Technologies, Inc.
Machine learning techniques have proven to be very effective for a wide range of image processing and classification tasks. While many embedded IoT systems deployed to date have leveraged connected cloud based resources for machine learning, there is a growing trend to implement this processing at the application edge for applications where bandwidth or latency are a constraint. Selecting the appropriate system components and tools to implement image processing at the edge; lowers the effort, time, and risk of implementing these designs.

Designing for Industrial Applications - Panel Session with Embedded Computing Design
Mark Tekippe, Director of Product Management; Digi International
In many settings, industrial equipment needs to run 24/7/365. That's different from many other applications, where little down time is no big deal. This panel will look at what's needed to ensure that your equipment runs non-stop.
Date: Tuesday, 25 February
Time: 4:00 pm – 4:45 pm
Location: Hall 5 / 5-341
