Serial communication

Hello

I need to write a program that also uses the serial port for communication. I was looking for some information on this subject or examples. Im using the digi connect me with net+os 7.4. I have to created a RS485 connection in the end but just some basic information on the RS232 interface will be a great help. Are there some pdf's on this subject that i might have overlooked? Thx for your time reading this

yours sincerely,

Tim

thx for the advice, i didn't see it before. It will not appear when i want
a new sample program with the normal digi connect me selected. Only under the Connect ME9210. But i guess the global idea is still the same. Thx m8

Hello

if being looking at the example and was wondering why it is not
available for the digi connect me. Is there some mayor difference between connect me and connect wi-me except for the fact that it is wireless?. And in net+os 7.4 the only way to communicated with the serial port is by using threads or is this just simply the best? I am sorry im a bit of a beginner with the digi any help will be great.

yours sincerely,

Tim
