On the RTC: You can examine the datasheet here:
http://datasheets.maxim-ic.com/en/ds/DS1337-DS1337C.pdf
With that as an example... I'll let you find the datasheet for the NAND and look that one up too.
Look for items in the datasheet that talk about flash cell "endurance".
