Need list of supported Power Management solutions

0 votes
Greetings everyone !

We have a lights-out server room in initial design, and would like to have the list of Remote Power Management products you are supporting (present and near future), so we can add this in our decision grid. We have a DIGI CM32 and are planning to buy a few CM48(dual-power) soon.

Regards,

Luc

We are tentatively planning on releasing our own Digi power controller around the April '04 timeframe.

Thxs Ron for the info; unfortunately 2004/04 will be too late for us.

As of now, we are pretty well aligned on the Baytech offering (serial port based, 8 and 21 ports), but we find their consolidated power management solution arcane. I'd seen that your sample documentation page on remote power management is with a BAYTECH RPC. Is there hope for us ?

The only other item that we will be using is the Servertech 2020 product, to control qty4 20A (IEC320-C19) ports (Cisco 6910 core switches).

Can you tell me if any of these items are supported in the current version ?

Thxs !

Yes, currently the only Power Mgmt device we support is the Baytech.

Ok we'll test the Baytech RPC series out, with a CM32.
Thxs !
