What is the default modem initialization string for the
Digi modem card?

The default modem init string is:

AT &F E0 V1 &D2 &C1 S0=0 S95=41

This is the init string I have now configured into 'mgetty' for initialising ports (should work fine with normal analog modems and modems on Digi RAS cards):

AT&FE0S0=0Q0V1W2X4&D3&C1&K3

&F resets the modem to factory default settings before setting anything else.

Any comments pro or con about this init string?

I think that string will work fine.
