Watchport V2 low FPS using as web cam

Question

I bought a Watchport V2 to use with skype, and I notice that the FPS is VERY slow. The person I transmit my video to reports that they are only seeing a single frame refreshed every 15 seconds or so! Connected via USB using Windows XP on a one year old Dell laptop with comcast cable modem and a brand new linksys broadband router. Anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

Not at this point, I'd like to get some more information from you. Have you tried to use any other type of webcam chat software like Yahoo Chat or MSN chat? How does that work? Is the frame rate ok if you're to use our viewer program in our WatchportV program group? Have you tried changing the resolution of the camera window to see if it has any effect?

I wouldn't initially think that your slow frame rate would be a function of our camera/driver but getting that info above should help me determine the problem.
