XBee-PRO XSC broadcast

Hello,
I am interested in purchasing the XBee-PRO® XSC RF Module. But I have a few questions
[1] I need to continuously broadcast with the device to other devices I don't see anywhere in the manual how to do this with the AT Commands. I know the ADF7025 and ADF7023 both support broadcast?
[2] Is there anyway to program the MCU on the board?

The radio is designed to be a transparent serial device. It will not just transmit on its own. You need to provide it data on its UART for it to transmit this data.
