Are s3b 900HP's compatible with s2 900's?

Is there a way to get the newer 900HP (XBP9B-DMST) talking with the older s2 900's (XBP09- DMSIT)?
I'm guessing the preamble ID is throwing a spanner in the works!
Thanks

No they are not compatible. They are two different products running at different data rates and over different options.
