Does the xbee pro automatically echo UART data?

Does the xbee pro automatically echo UART data? For example, if I send an xbee pro a message wirelessly does it automatically echo this message on its Tx(transmitting) pin? Also, if I input a message on the xbee's Rx pin does it automatically echo this message wirelessly?

No it does not. But if you proivide it data via the DI pin on the UART, it will send that data over the RF port.
