How to turn off RTS in Digi Connect SP

0 votes
Does anyone know how to turn off RTS in the Digi Connect SP one port serial server? In the Digi One SP, I could do this using the command "set flow range=1 rts=off". This command is not available in the Digi Connect SP.

I have tried using the new commands in the Digi Connect SP, but this does not turn off RTS:

set serial flow=custom
set serial customflow=[rts|cts|dtr|dsr,etc...]

We can only get a modem connection to work by disabling RTS, which worked on the Digi One SP.

Any help is appreciated!

There isn’t a way currently to turn off this signal.

The Connect SP will raise rts/dtr when the serial port is opened.

Depending on your application you may want to try rts toggle. RTS toggle is often used for push to talk application that uses long range radios. This works in a half-duplex type mode which allows you to send data, and receive data in one direction at a time.
