I continue to get the below message at different intervals like one at 5:30am then one at 7:06am and then at 7:36am. So i assume there is not a schedule task running that would be the issue. The machine is windows 7 professional 64 bit and realport is installed using 64 bit drivers with no installation errors. Lan connection is hardwired with new cable, switch is new as well. I have uninstalled device and reinstalled using a different com port but still have message. The digi portserver is used on a Star TUP992 printer and i get variable ticket copies software set to one i get 2 copies set to 2 i get 3 and then could be sometimes 4 or 5 or 1 copy.

See below error message in event viewer.

digigrps serial port COM2 could not be opened for spoolsv.exe. the device driver either lost its network connection to the device or local driver is being disabled
