Are there any 900 MHz 1 watt radio modems that use an open, or published RF network protocol.?

What do you mean by "Open protocol"?

The 9xtend treats data as transparent as possible with a slight delay. That is to say, by default, data in = data out.

Are you looking for a 900 MHz product that is operating on an IEEE RF Standard such as the 802.15.4 or 802.11bg standards?
