Can an AnywhereUSB/5 be configured so that the serial devices each appear as TCP/IP ports or will the devices always show up as serial ports at the computer

Best answer
You are using the wrong product if you want to do that.
AnywhereUSB would be the same as if you plugged it directly into your PC.
Use one of our serial servers such as the ConnectPort TS if you want a TCP socket to the serial port.

I see in the manual for the ConnectPort that you can connect RS232,422,and 485 devices. What about USB? Can that be used with ConnectPort TS products?
No, no USB. AnywhereUSB for USB and ConnectPort for serial connections.
