ConnectPort X2 - How to proper setup as a ZigBee ethernet Gateway?

Hey there,

I got a ConnectPort X2 in front of me, firmware completely updated (post, firmware and xbee firmware).

And here are my questions:
Is it set to only support XBee RF devices or will it work for ZigBee End Devices from another manufacturer?

What do I need to check to find out whether my devices are compatible or not?

Best Regards,

The following knowledge base article should prove useful:

To clarify, If the 3rd party device is Certified on the Zigbee 2006 or PRO Public profile, they should be able to communicate by modifying the ZS parameter.  Just understand that you will need to know what active end points the 3rd party device supports to be able to send and receive data between the devices.
