Programmable point to multipoint

I would like to utilize an xbee 900hp s3b programmable with point to multipoint firmware, but it is only offered with Digimesh. Can I purchase a Digimesh programmable version then change firmware to point to multipoint?

Yeah, that should be easy.
Just remember to use XBIB interface board while updating firmware. Most 3rd party boards don't have flow control lines which are important during firmware update.

You also may need to load the proper code on the free-scale processor first.
