AES doe not conect to an Access Point using TKIP+AES

0 votes
We are using hardware base on Digi Connect Wi-ME 9210. I have the latest updates for NET+OS. I set the WiFi config to use AES encryption, but it does not connect to any Access Point that is setup for TKIP+AES. If our equipment is set to TKIP it connects.
Is this a known issue?
Is there a fix or workaround?

The TKIP+AES option is used to allow TKIP clients and AES clients to access the same AP while using a common SSID.
If the Digi AES client does not connect to the TKIP+AES AP then there must be something wrong with the design.
