Edgeport USB converter communication problem

I get consistent communication failures when using this device that do not occur when using the PC serial port (COM1). I have tried adjusting the port flags for the edgeport com port but the communication failures still persist. Any ideas?

What EdgePort driver version are you using?

Does this occur if you connect EdgePort to a different host computer?

Does the EdgePort digital loopback test work?

The driver is version 5.70.105.0. The digital loopback test works and I see the same behavior with two PCs. I can get the device to work when transmitting small amounts of data but it invariably fails when sending larger amounts.

Right now, it's tough to say what's the cause of the issue.  I suggest opening a ticket with Digi tech support.
