Help first project

Question

Hello,

I need to build a remote power switch for a 14VDC 200A system.
Using a remote button, I need to break the current on the remote site.
500 meters of distance is the maximum estimated and I will need on the trasmitter a led that indicates if the connection is established.

Can someone help me?
Parts and schematics/programming.. I'm a newbie..

May I suggest doing a search on Amazon for XBee Relay. You will find that there are already products out there that will do what you want using an Xbee module for little cost.
