setting 16 bit address for an xbee s2c ED in API mode

In API mode of xbee s2b, it is said that we can set the 16 bit address for an End device. Is it possible in xbee s2c? If not is it possible in pro?

I think you are confused. You can only set the 16 bit address on an 802.15.4 module. NOT a Zigbee (ZB (C7, BZ Etc) module.

Thank you for the reply. Actually I want to know, how to enable 16 bit addressing in xbee s2c. In API mode, it is said that the coordinator gives random address to endpoint. Since ATMY command is read only we cannot change the 16 bit address. How to manually set the 16 bit address for an endpoint?
