Use hdmiVGA adapter connectcore6

0 votes
I am using the connectcore6 with a linux embedded. I have a vga monitor and the board doesn't has vga conector, I wanted to connect It a monitor with a hdmi vga adapter but It didn't work. I read is possible to configure something in the bootloader to do that.
Any help please.

HDMI on the board is pure digital, VGA is pure analog. You can't use HDMI to VGA connector. Some PCs bring both analog and digital signals to HDMI connector. So then you can use a simple adapter to route out VGA signals to the connector.
In this case there is no analog video on the board. You'd have to find some HDMI to VGA converter that has electronics that converts digital signal to analog. Those days it's probably easier to get an HDMI monitor.
