how to increase the date rate of XBee-PRO SX?

Hey everyone,

with the instruction of User guide, there are 3 modes of data rate of XBee-PRO SX, 10kbps, 110kbps and 250kbps. However, the maximum date rate I test with X-CTU is only 40kbps. Ihave tried with all configuration of data rate, serial baud rate and also make sure the SNR is big enough (40dB).

so my questions is :
how to get 250kbps date rate with XBee-PRO SX?
what is the relationship with data rate, serial baud rate and the throughput?

The data rate that is being mentioned in the manual is the rate the modules talk to each other and not the throughput rate.

Hi Mvut

I have tested with 250kbps (data rate), P2MP transmit mode, 921600 baud rate and hardware flow control, the throughput of XCTU is 32kbps.

so that mean it is the maximum throughput of Xbee PRO SX?
If that is what you are seeing, then that is the max you are going to get in that environment.
