I'm coming from the raw modem world, where the modem powers up, and you send AT commands to it. With the Digi Cat-M modem, it defaults to transparent mode. Do AT commands get passed through to the modem in transparent mode, or are they wrapped in some type of digi serial protocol? If not, which modes allow AT commands to be sent to the modem?
Is it possible to change modes without XCTU? Is the AP command just a text AT command, or something wrapped in a special digi protocol?
