Unable to open TCP socket to XBee Cellular 3G

0 votes
We are using Digi Xbee Cellular 3G Global with provided KIT SIM.

We are using Xbee Cellular in transparent mode.

Firmware: FW ver 11310 Prod Build: Nov 8 2018 13:30:17
Hardware: 4441

No problem at all with outgoing connections with Eliza and our cloud servers.

We are facing issues in incoming connections; we are not able to open a socket TCP cnnection to the module following instructions found on documentation: "Transparent mode behaviour for incoming TCP connections".

Following settings used:

IP: 1
DO: 0
DE: 0x2616
C0: 0x2616

After waiting for netwok connection to estabilished (AI=0) we try to open a TCP socket connection to the Module IP (MY) through source port (C0).
Impossible to open the socket connection.

Tried a network reset (NR) to cut down all previous socket connections but no result.

Any help will be appreciated.

No problem in network connectivity and everything goes smooth with outgoing connections

I am guessing the IP address your module was getting isn't a public IP but a private one from the carrier's network.
