cannot find TS device

I have a PortServer TS 1 port
I connected to our company LAN
I ran the discovery tool from my labtop, the tool had no issues finding the device
I have a windows server 2012r2 machine that I run the discovery tool on and it does not find it!
I can ping it (using the address from my laptop’s finding).

The purpose of the discovery tool is to:

- See the IP of a Digi device
- Set the IP of a Digi device

Since you already know the IP of your Digi device, I do not see the need to use the discovery tool. But if you are determined to get this working, hopefully this KB article will help:
