I'd like to map specific MAC address to IP address when using DHCP server function in LR54, so that device connecting to LR54 gets always the same IP from DHCP server.

Problem is that I have one device which I can't assign static IP address and it's IP is changing from time to time. This device is queried via LAN so it would be easier if IP does not change.

Hi it would depend on the version of firmware on the LR54 i the latest 4.5.1.4 has a cli command DHCP-HOST

this should allow you to assign an address from the mac-address

I have not used it yet or if it has to be an address in the dhcp-server pool

regards

James
thanks,

With latest firmware:

CLI commands:

dhcp-host 1 ip-address x.x.x.x
dhcp-host 1 mac-address xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
save config

seems to be working
