How to configure XBEE3 for digital line passing?

votes
I'm using a Digi Xbee3 zigbee mesh kit to develop a simple wireless sensor.
For some reason I can't find configuration parameter for I/O line passing Input address. When I use terminal command "IA" I receive an error message from the XBee module.
Can anyone explain this to me?

Did you start with +++ and abide by the guard time? I'd start by talking to it with XTCU to ensure IA is a valid parameter for that module, then try other benign AT commands until you're sure of the syntax.
