Does IEEE 802.11 xbee supports mesh?

0 votes
I have a requirment that i need to make multiple robots to communicate with each other throught mesh topology. As i found in
his=https://xbplib.readthedocs.io/en/latest/user_doc/xbee_terminology.html page. Xbee s6B supports IEEE 802.11 g/n etc. Does this protocols supports mesh communication? My plan is to use ROS1/ROS2 topics to be directly passed from xbee without any conversion of the default ros topics. Is AP neccessary?

No, the 802.11 WIFI protocol never offered a Mesh function. You can however, use a WIFI access point/router for your Master and have each of the devices send broadcast packets.
