Digi Accelerated device stops answering pings, what could be the cause?

We have an accelerated device set up at a client that constantly stops answering pings from Uptime Robot. Sometimes it will stay offline for 2 minutes, and sometimes it will stay off for 2 hours. Sometimes it will stay online for 3 days and sometimes it will be online for only 5 minutes. Out of all of our devices, this one is the only one that does it this much.

According to the Digi Remote Manager it is not actually losing connection. There is no specific time of day that it loses connection and it can't be tied to a local even (such as power surge, rebooting of local equipment, etc).

What ideas do you folks have that could be causing this?
