Low Upload / Download rates DIGI wr31

Question

Hi, when using DIGI wr31 with sim card i am getting a rate of 13M only, when taking this sim to a cell phone the upload is rising up to 50M or so, do you have any idea what i need to check/configure in the router to get the same results?

This is expected throughput of a WR31. You may see up to 20Mbps.

The WR31 is a long life product released in 2015. It is based on the hardware in the WR21 which was released in 2011.

I would not be expecting higher throughput on this regardless of the cellular module or SIM card used because the limitations are based on the CPU used in the device.

Realistically, people buy the WR31 because you can keep buying the same product over a 5 year period and not for the throughput. This is useful for industrial applications where devices must be specified into a solution.
