Can I connect Xbee s2c to Xbee s2c pro

I have 2 xbee s2c pro and one of them has problem with antennas or another problem. When I connect them, communication continues for a while then cuts off. After some while connection regains. So I decided to buy a xbee s2c but not pro version. I wonder if two different versions of xbee can communicate with each other

Yes, they are both able to communicate with each other as long as you are using the same protocol. That is, both need to be using either 802.15.4, Digi Mesh or Zigbee.
