The Digi Connect ME 9210 is an ultra-compact embedded system-on-module (SoM) with 10/100 Ethernet support based on Digi's new and powerful 32-bit NS9210 processor (ARM9). The module allows customers to implement the next generation of leading network-enabled products and maintains full form factor and pin-compatibility with the existing Digi Connect ME family. Digi's own NET+ARM processor technology also delivers the true long-term availability that is a key requirement for embedded applications.
The Digi Connect ME 9210 family features the development and operational benefits of the iDigi® Device Cloud™. This secure, highly-scalable platform seamlessly ties enterprise applications and remote devices together.
iDigi Manager Pro empowers IT, network operations and customer support organizations to conquer the challenges of managing equipment in their device networks. Network managers can remotely configure, upgrade, monitor and troubleshoot remote devices, and create applications that improve productivity, speed and efficiency.
The Digi Connect ME 9210 can provide future application-specific interface options (CAN, 1-Wire, UART, USB device, etc.) through its unique on-chip Flexible Interface Module (FIM), while still keeping the main serial port or other peripheral interfaces available. The module is also suitable for more advanced main application processor applications with its support of up to ten shared GPIOs, external IRQs and an extended set of peripheral interface options such as I2C and SPI. The system-on-module also offers an industrial operating temperature.
Digi JumpStart Kits® are cost-effective, easy-to-use development solutions that minimize product design risks and shorten time-to-market. They leverage the reliability and flexibility of the royalty-free ThreadX-based NET+OS® platform, or the readily available library of software and community support of the Linux® environment.
