Digi XBee® 3 BLU modules offer an easy-to-use Bluetooth solution for designers, OEMs and solution providers supporting Bluetooth Low Energy 5.4 for industrial wireless IoT connectivity. With an industrial temperature range of −40 ºC to 85 ºC (−40 ºF to 185 ºF) Digi XBee 3 BLU supports a variety of industrial applications.

The pre-certified modules come in the classic XBee form factors (micro and through-hole) offering MicroPython programmability, beaconing, Bluetooth sensor support and the Digi XBee Mobile App to accelerate use in industrial wireless projects.

Digi XBee 3 BLU modules are a key offering in the Digi XBee ecosystem of wireless modules, adapters, tools and software — all engineered to accelerate product and application development, deployment and management.

Built-in Digi TrustFence® security, identity and data privacy features use multiple layers of control to protect against new and evolving cyberthreats. Bluetooth Low Energy also adds security via pairing and bonding as well as encrypted advertising. Additionally, all Digi XBee modules integrate the Digi TrustFence security framework, which includes secure boot, hardware cryptographic acceleration and true random number generation.

Standard Digi XBee API frames and AT commands, as well as MicroPython and Digi XBee Studio, make it simple to set up, configure and test modules or update their functionality.

The Digi Wireless Design Services (WDS) offers custom design and build services, configuration, certification assistance and additional services to get your products to market smarter and faster.
