What to do when you see a Resource Shortage on your TransPort

If you see the following in the debug.txt:
'modemstat ?'

                Outcome: Resource shortage
                   Time: 1 Jan 1970 00:00:49
OK

'usb show'

+ bus 1, usb-1
  + dev 1 (usb-1), port 0, EHCI root hub
+ bus 2, usb-2
  + dev 1 (usb-2), port 0, EHCI root hub
OK

There are a few items have been known to clear this issue up.
Please try a factory reset.  Wait a few minutes, go to Administration > Execute a command and then try the ‘modemstat ?’ command to see if you’re still getting that resource shortage or if it’s now reading the module.

Go to Administration > Execute a command and then enter the following commands:
muxoff
muxon
config 0 save
reboot

Again, wait a few minutes and then try the ‘modemstat ?’ command.

Finally try flashwriter.  If you are unfamiliar with the procedure, you may find it here:  TransPort Firmware Upgrade Instructions
You will note that there are both an Ethernet and a Serial procedure.
After you are complete, again try the ‘modemstat ?’ command.
